Lakeway City in third ethics violation case

There are two existing ethics issues from the recent (May) elections. One has been deemed a breach involving the signs to support the Poilce Station Bond. The other - Mayor Bain's involvement in the use of fake social media accounts to allegedly influence the election - is still under consideration.

New watercolor exhibit at Library

The Lake Travis Community Library will display the watercolor artwork of Lynn Zwern during the month of September  Zwern’s artistic career began as the owner of a hand painted silk business selling custom clothing and working as artist in residence at several locations. Now she is the co-owner of a decorative painting company with her husband and helps numerous clients design and implement their own visions.

Sports Field funding set for 2021 at the earliest

Bee cave Council Member Monty Parker has posted some ineresting analysis of the timing and value of the $21MM of Travis County money earmarked for the Bee Creek Sports facility to be built on land purchsed by the City of Lakeway in 2017.

Backyard developer in another legal battle

The Backyatd Partners and Chris Milam specifically are being sued for breaching an agreement to design and build the energy source at the center of the revised backyards huge Data Center complex.
