Our hungry, quality-focused Dealer Development Team is looking for ambitious hires to cultivate new relationships, maintain existing partners and ensure our customers get the best service available.  

With your knack for solving tough problems and your focus on delivering exceptional customer service, you will thrive as our Consumer Support Specialist.  You will use your impressive multi-tasking and tech-savvy skills to resolve challenging consumer issues including website navigation questions, dealer inquiries and more.   Answering a high volume of customer calls, you will deliver solutions, satisfy the ever-changing needs of our customer base and enhance the TrueCar User experience on our websites. Our Consumer Support Specialists provide thorough product and service information to our potential customers by helping them understand how TrueCar works prior, during and after registration.  


·       Entice potential TrueCar website visitors by answering product and service questions using LiveChat, VideoChat, email, and customer-requested phone calls

·       Guide customers through completion of registration process

·       Provide expert information to new and existing users, as well as field and answer questions thoroughly

·       Resolve user challenges by identifying the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, conducting follow-up to ensure resolution

·       Promote various marketing initiatives to prospective customers as appropriate

·       Document customer information and recurring technical issues to ensure product quality and development

·       Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing assigned goals


·       Fluent in written and verbal English language

·       Demonstrated ability to use the computer and phone simultaneously

·       Aptitude for quick retrieval and communication of web-based information

·       Minimum 6 months of Call Center Customer Service experience required

·       High School diploma is required, some college or degree is preferred

·       A positive, patient, empathetic, adaptable, customer-service focused attitude is needed

·       Flexible and available to work various shifts including weekends


·       Fluent in Spanish

·       Some College Preferred

·       Experience with current technical tools such as LiveChat and co-browsing
